Victor T. Copeland, MD

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Copeland is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialty training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery.
Dr. Copeland received his Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University with a major in Psychology and concentration in neurosciences. He completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia, and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Copeland then completed a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Wake Forest University.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Copeland enjoys all things outdoors, golf, sports, reading, and spending time with his wife, Caroline, and three children. Dr. Copeland is excited to return home to Georgia and become part of the Athens community.
